- Congratulations to boater, Randy Phelan for his tournament winning sack of 15.00 lbs. Ben Wright took non-boater honors weighing in 9.10 lbs, as the NYTBF kicked of its 2013 season with an Early Bird event on the Hudson River. Full results can be found on the tournaments page.
- Congratulations to Darrin Schwenkbeck for winning the 2013 NYTBF State team qualifier held 10/13-10/14 out of Port Heny, NY on beautiful Lake Champlain. Darrin had a 2-day combined weight of 34.70 lbs. Full results can be found on the tournaments page.
- The 2013 Youth Qualifier was a success. Cody LaMoy brought in a 5 fish limit of 14.60lbs to win the 15-18 age division. Alec Morrison won his 3rd title weighing in 3 fish for 7.20lbs. Both now advance to the 2013 TBF Junior World Championship. Full results can be found on the tournaments page.
- Congratulations to Angler of the Year, Jim Schneider and Co-angler of the Year, Ben Wright. Both are awarded an automatic 2013 State Team spot.
